N2 - The absolute configuration (AC) of (+)-2R,7R,15R,17S,19S-10-demethoxy-12- hydroxy-17,19-epoxygeissovelline (1), a main aspidospermatan-type indoline alkaloid from Geissospermum reticulatum, was established by vibrational circular dichroism (VCD), facilitating deduction of the AC of all structurally related alkaloids isolated from this plant.
